HR Manager

Permanent employee, Full-time · Attersee/Salzburg/Wien

Your responsibilities

​We are a fast-growing SME with big ambitions and hiring needs. Your role as an HR Manager at Symptoma will be far from one-dimensional and you will be an integral part of building our company’s foundation for rapid growth in ​the pioneering field of health tech. The goal is to ensure our HR operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole. People are our most important asset and you’ll be our star who ensures we have a positive and productive workplace where everyone works to realize our established mission and objectives.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor HR strategies and policies aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Report to C-Level and provide decision support through HR metrics
  • Establish standardized HR processes from recruiting to offboarding
  • Act as the main point of contact for employees’ queries on HR-related topics from contracting to legal compliance and necessary administrative duties 
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues
  • Nurture a positive working environment by promoting corporate values and shaping a positive culture
  • Ensure our onboarding and management procedures are effective for diverse groups
  • Evaluate hiring demand and develop talent acquisition strategies to build strong pipelines for future hiring needs and support “Hell-yeah” decisions for every hire 
  • Develop compensation and benefits plans with a standardized salary structure to lower negotiation efforts 
  • Maintain and take ownership over our HR Information System Personio to ensure all employee records are up-to-date and confidential
  • Establish a smooth employee feedback process and enable careers within Symptoma 
  • Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g., leaves of absence, sick days, and work schedules)
Your profile
  • You have at least 3-5 years of working experience in Human Resources
  • You are able to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues
  • You bring experience in educating and coaching staff
  • You are comfortable engaging in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations
  • You can bring culture-building experience to the table
  • Preferably you have a thorough knowledge of Austrian labor laws
  • Preferably you have an affinity for (health) technology or have already gathered experience in hiring for tech-companies
  • You have strong communication skills, are flexible and open-minded, and don't shy away from new technology or software

  • In accordance with Austrian law regulations, it is stated that the minimum gross salary for this position is 50.652 EUR/year (ST2 Regelstufe KV IT 2021). The actual salary is of course dependent on your experience level.
