Innovation Manager

What you will be doing:
Ongoing projects

  • Create presentations
  • Write reporting for funding agencies (proof of work aligned with funding grant)
  • Internal point person for deliverables (clarify extent and content)
  • contact point for funding agency (assist with audits and provide required documents/information)
  • Lobbying for company/roadmap interests ongoing projects
  • (shared with project management)
    1. Attend consortial meetings
    2. Summarize tasks
    3. Overview on resources

Project acquisition

  • Organise consortia meetings
  • Delegate and check on consortial tasks (write proposal sections, contact additional partners etc.)
  • Fill templates administrative information
  • Grooming of incoming documents
  • Budgeting and personnel planning
  • Write proposals (copy&paste, research, and write new sections)
  • Identify funding opportunities
  • Assist in “research partner account management” (make partners happy and satisfied for long term collaborations)
  • Assist in partner search and attend meetings
What you bring along:
Must-haves

  • Knows how research works
  • Likes to research information and knows how to reference work “Scientific methodology”
  • Can present and self-organize
  • Proficiency in English (self-assessment is sufficient generally - C1-2 or equivalent IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge)
  • Idealist with ideas
  • Scientific working expertise (One of the proofs of scientific working know-how below)
    1. PhD degree
    2. 2+ publications
    3. 1+ years of working experience in a research group or similar (eg. scientific assistant)

Nice to haves

  • Knows how to apply for funding (rudimentary/conceptual knowledge is sufficient)
  • Knows social etiquette in research and industry
  • General understanding of technology, modern trends, healthcare
  • Interested in Precision medicine, AI/ML, Big Data, automation
  • Experience in business modelling
  • “Street smart”, creative problem solving

  • Highly motivated employees must be remunerated appropriately. The minimum salary for this position is € 3094,- gross per month (full-time, collective wage agreement). The actual remuneration package will be guided by your professional experience and your qualifications, so increased payment is possible
